I am watching a rerun of “Off the Grid” it’s from the race in Melbourne. This is Will’s rental car, a Holden Maloo SSV Redline.
To paraphase Will, “I quite like it, it’s Lime Green and offensive.”

Seems like the rental car company must have stuck him in the “economy” class.

They probably thought it was economy class because it’s a stick.

And it’s a ute. So they figured he’d be using it to haul furniture or dirt.

Did Dodge ever get in on the ute market in Australia? All I ever hear about are the Chevy based ones. Then I just want to import one immediately.

Have to get green, it just doesn’t look right in the other colors.

The green is awesome, I have seen as US conversion in white. It looked great in white too. My opinion could be clouded though, I would drive one of these in pink if it meant I got to own one.

Glory to Chrysler/Dodge! I’d sell my body for a ute hellcat with a front clip similar to the charger. I’d sell my body and my Dart for a new Magnum with charger-esque styling whether it was hellcat or not.

Its a Holden Commodore Ute SSV Redline.
The HSV Maloo is a another model altogether (HSV is a seperate company from Holden, despite being their performance arm); same body - different bars, bodykit and interior; largely the same LS3 running gear -save for exhaust & ECU which brings power upto 317kW (340kW in R8 spec), up from the 270kW on the SSV Redline.. Until you get to a GTS Maloo which has the ZL1 LSA drivetrain and rear end producing 430kW

Edit: 325kW for base Maloo, not 317kW
